The only democratic state in the region, the one with the most moral army in the world, is at it again. In case anyone thought that its depravity had a bottom, Israel confirmed it does not. In the latest confirmation of its baseness, Israel imposed new conditions on Aid Groups trying to assuage the horror it inflicts daily on Palestinians. Not only is Israel determined to commit genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, it also doesn’t want humanitarian organizations helping the desperate, starving people whose land Israel covets. Nor does it want independent third parties to report on Israeli atrocities. What’s the sense of killing off hundreds of reporters only to allow these goody two shoes to tell the truth?
So, Israel, in its ceaseless criminality, ordered humanitarian organizations working in Gaza to hand over the names of all the people working for them. Those people, many of them volunteers, are delivering food, medicine, blankets, and clothes etc., doing what they can to ease the unconscionable cruelty inflicted upon them by YHWH’s warriors.
The list of Aid Groups banned or menaced by Israel is a who’s who of the types of organizations and people for which we should all be grateful. Under attack are such dangerous terrorist groups as Doctors Without Borders (MSF), the World Health Organization (WHO), various UN agencies, Oxfam Quebec, Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), Mercy Corps, World Vision International, War Child Holland, CARE, and Action Against Hunger. No doubt these are nefarious allies of Palestine using innocent sounding names as cover for their real intentions, the destruction of God’s people.
These groups are doing heroic work in horrendous circumstances, offering some level of support and hope to a desperate people, never knowing when the Zionist fanatics will do them in. Hundreds of their colleagues have already met their end at the hands of this barbaric cult. Imagine that these humanitarian organizations would serve up their workers on a silver platter, a collective Salome, effectively making them easy targets for the most moral army in the world.
It’s understandable that these organizations are not interested in cooperating with the clinically deceitful Israeli government. The number of humanitarian workers who have lost their lives in Gaza since October 2023 exceeds 1,500 with the UN Relief and Works Agency, (UNRWA) and the Palestinian Red Cross taking the brunt from the brute.
Israel has no use for the UN and its silly resolutions. Since 1948 it has received and ignored hundreds of resolutions, more then the rest of the world combined. That’s no mean accomplishment and firmly places Israel among the leaders in the most depraved countries of the world standings.
Because of its contempt for the UN General Assembly, anyone representing the UN is a proxy. UNRWA workers are clearly in the sights of the IDF, no doubt acting on orders from Netanyahu and his quislings. As for the Palestinian Red Cross, well they’re Arabs after all, nuff said.
Besides demanding the names of all humanitarian workers in Gaza, Israel has put limits on aid routes, restricting the flow of life saving supplies entering the remaining refuge of the Palestinians. In this coldest of times, when the winter temperatures and biting winds make life unbearable for starving people living in shells of buildings, Israel does what it can to cut off their contact with the outside world, to crush all traces of hope that linger.
Israel continues to not give a fuck about the people of Gaza and the West Bank, journalists, nurses, doctors, aid groups, the United Nations, and the international community. They are concerned only about their tribe, this exclusive cult with a cocked-up story they invented 3,000 years ago and now use as justification for the theft of other people’s land, land to which they have no claim beyond their bullshit religious fable. This plundering, this displacement, this genocide of the Palestinian people should have been shut down before it birthed and now should be universally condemned and sanctioned
Yet Israel is able to continue its appropriation and slaughter in Palestine because of its enormous global propaganda machine and the influence it exercises in the media, in culture, in financial institutions, and in the corridors of power around the world, most importantly in what poses as government in the United States of America.
While people take to the streets globally in protest of Israel’s actions, while humanitarian organizations struggle against near impossible odds to bring relief to the people of Palestine, while journalists and medical professionals work bravely never knowing which day is their last, while anti -Zionist Jews, at real risk of being ostracized by friends and family and employers, take on their own, the governments of the world continue to fiddle.
Where is the unequivocal condemnation, the boycotts of the Israeli government, and Israeli businesses? Why are Israeli athletes and artists welcome in international competition? Why is Israel not treated as an international pariah in the same manner as Russia? Are Russia´s actions towards Ukraine worse than Israel’s against Palestine? At least Ukraine has the military support much of the world in its battle against totalitarianism. Israel, one of the best equipped armies in the world, is fighting a largely defenseless population. It’s not a war, it’s butchery. It’s not a conflict, it’s genocide.
In spite of a ceasefire, Israel continues to bomb and kill the people of Gaza and steal more and more land in the West Bank. In spite of a ceasefire, it is preventing aid groups from helping the helpless. Israel does not want the innocents of Gaza to receive food and medicine. It wants them to leave or die. It wants Zionists to occupy Gaza and sell the land to foreign Zionists who have no connection to the region, but who are part of the same morally bankrupt tribe. We see these fascist carpetbaggers in the West Bank. What an even greater clusterfuck of a country Israel will be if it imports still more of these bestial cunts.
It is small comfort to the Arabs of Gaza and the West Bank that history may harshly judge Israel, its deranged supporters, and collaborative foreign governments. It matters little if Netanyahu and his gang of goons are wanted by the ICC but still allowed to travel the world. It means nothing if Israel signs ceasefires knowing that the world will move on and it can continue to act as it always has.
With the exception of a few principled countries, South Africa, Ireland, Spain, Colombia, Slovenia, Bolivia, Namibia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Algeria, the rest of the world, and most of the heavyweights, are content with pale announcements with no follow-up. They are either themselves so tied to Israeli money and influence or so fearful of the forty thieves running the White House, they can hardly bring themselves to mutter the sallowest reproach.
As U.S. congressman, John Lewis, said of the U.S. civil rights movement of the 60s, “If not us, then who? If not now, then when?”
When it comes to stopping the murderous state of Israel, countries who should step up instead avert their eyes and mumble platitudes. They are not ‘us’’ and ‘when’’ is irrelevant if you never plan to act.
‘’Never again’’ has shown itself as an illusion, a bromide to make us feel better about being silent and condemning a people to death, a faux rallying cry to assuage our guilt. In the end it means nothing. Despite 80 years of reading about, listening to, and watching the scenes of The Holocaust, we are no more morally courageous than the people who let Nazis perpetrate the horror.
There is no law anywhere that allows victims to become perpetrators. Yet this is what is happening. Israel wears its victimhood like a cloak and nations, especially European, can’t escape their guilt to do what’s right this time around.
We may express our superiority over the past by tearing down its statues and changing its street names, but we remain, like our ancestors, people of our time. We too wait to be condemned.
Enabled by willfully blind governments, Israel pursues its wicked ways in Gaza and the West Bank. The mighty are timorous and the peacemakers are alone. With so many willing to do so little, we should admire and support those who step into the fire. We should punish, in the strongest way possible, those who wreak the havoc and block the way. Instead, we allow the havoc wreakers to win, to crow, to ´´fret and strut upon the world stage. ´´
The peacemakers may be blessed as children of God, but they are cursed by the occupying power. Left to their own devices by a complicit world, they do their best to dodge bombs and bullets to help innocents stay alive. To paraphrase Satchmo, ´´What a fucked-up world! ´´
